What to Expect
Menu Borscht A classic Ukrainian beet soup layered with cabbage, root vegetables, aromatics, and fresh dill, served warm with sour cream. Varenyky (Pierogi) Handmade dumplings filled with creamy potato and sautéed onions, folded and sealed by hand, then boiled and finished with butter and caramelized onions. Syrnyk A baked Ukrainian-style cheesecake made with farmer’s cheese, lightly sweetened and finished with vanilla and lemon. Booking Policy
This Booking & Participation Policy applies to all registrations for the adult public classes operated by Savorra Culinary Academy Inc. Cancellation & Rescheduling We prepare ingredients and arrange staffing well in advance of every class, so we ask that cancellations and rescheduling requests be made with as much notice as possible. More than 72 hours before your class: You are eligible for a full refund to your original payment method (minus any applicable processing fees), or a class credit with no deductions — whichever you prefer. Rescheduling is free to any class of equal value. Within 72 hours of your class: A refund or transfer is possible only if we are able to fill your spot. If successful, you will receive a refund (minus applicable processing fees) or a full class credit. If we are unable to fill it, the booking is non-refundable. No-shows: If you do not attend and have not contacted us in advance, the booking is forfeited with no refund or transfer. If Savorra cancels: You will receive a full refund with no deductions, or the option to transfer to another date. We will notify you as early as possible. To cancel or reschedule, email info@savorra.ca with your name, booking date, and class name. Participation & Safety Cooking environment: Our classes involve sharp knives, hot surfaces, and induction cooktops. Full guidance is provided throughout, but participants are responsible for following instructor instructions and exercising reasonable care. Allergens: We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions listed at the time of booking. However, our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy, and shellfish. A fully allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Alcohol: Wine pairing is included in adult classes and is available to guests aged 18 and over. Guests under 18 are warmly welcome but will not be served alcohol. Photography: Savorra may photograph or film sessions for marketing and social media purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any photos, please let your instructor know at the start of class. Liability: Savorra Culinary Academy and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes, except where required by applicable law. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. By completing registration for the class, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Booking & Participation Policy.
